The Palacio de Las Dueñas resumes the relationship between the Casa de Alba and the opera Carmen de Bizet, whose creator, Prosper Merimée, addresses the plot of this opera in letters with the Empress Eugenia de Montijo, sister of the Duchess of Alba.
In the main courtyard of the palace, a reduced and staged version will be recreated through the best-known arias and duets starring Carmen, Don José, Escamillo and Micalea, accompanied by the melody of the piano.
